Thank you for visiting JP's site!

JP Migneco is an artist who lives and works in Malta, with a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts degree at the University of Malta. His first solo exhibition took place in Valletta in 2018, followed by the involvement in a variety of group shows, and a second solo exhibition in 2021.

The work that Migneco produces involves drawing, painting and digital media applications. His work process includes planning and experimentation, due to his interest in bringing different subjects together to create a form of interdisciplinary art.

Migneco’s work is often inspired by ideas related to landscape painting, geometry, and colour theory. It incorporates methods of reinterpreting images of symbolic objects and locations through the use of illusory colour patterns which are often derived from notions related to modern art, geology and architecture.
